On Thursday, August 19th, Microsoft announced an update to its commercial pricing for Microsoft 365, the first substantive update since Office 365 was released in June 2011. This change will go into effect on March 1, 2022 – providing customers about six months of advance notification. It will include:
Enterprise
Microsoft 365 E3 (US$32 to US$36/user)
Office 365 E5 (US$35 to US$38)
Office365 E3 (US$20 to US$23)
Office 365 E1 (US$8 to US$10)
SMB
Microsoft 365 Business Basic (US$5 to US$6/user)
Microsoft 365 Business Premium (US$20 to US$22)
We will provide updates on the NZD pricing as they come to hand and there is no price change at this time for education or consumer products.
Please take a look at the announcement to see just some of the innovation Microsoft have delivered over the past decade in three key areas: communications and collaboration, security and compliance, and AI and automation.
They have also announced the extension of unlimited dial-in across paid enterprise, business, frontline, and government suites, enabling users to dial-in and join a Teams meeting from virtually any device.
